Journaling Your Way to Healing Trauma Workshop

Online Women's Workshops

Welcome to the Journaling Your Way to

Healing Trauma Workshop!

This is a space where we’re not just talking about healing; we’re doing the work. Journaling has been my go-to tool for dealing with all the messy, painful, beautiful parts of life, and I’m here to help you use it to sort through your own story.

But first, a quick heads up: this workshop isn’t about sugarcoating things or pretending everything’s fine. Nope. We’re diving deep into the stuff that hurts so we can start letting it go. I’m not here to tell you what to write or how to feel—I’m just here to guide you as you explore what’s been holding you back and how to move forward.

Here’s the deal: I’m a big believer that healing isn’t linear. Some days you’re killing it, and other days, well, you’re eating ice cream straight from the carton and crying over a sappy commercial. That’s okay. This workshop is about finding what works for you, at your own pace, and in your own way.

In this workshop, we will:

  • Get Real About Trauma: We’ll explore how journaling can help you process those deep wounds and start to heal from the inside out. No pressure, no judgment—just a pen, some paper, and a safe space to let it all out.
  • Uncover Hidden Patterns: We’ll dig into the patterns and beliefs that have been keeping you stuck, and use journaling to challenge them head-on.
  • Rewrite Your Narrative: It’s time to take back your story. Through guided exercises, you’ll start to see yourself not just as a survivor, but as the badass author of your own life.
  • Find Your Voice: Whether you’re scribbling in a notebook or typing on your phone, we’ll work on using journaling as a way to express your truth and find some clarity amidst the chaos.
  • Laugh, Cry, and Heal: Healing isn’t all rainbows and sunshine—it’s hard work. But I promise you’ll come out the other side stronger, more empowered, and maybe even with a few new friends who get what you’re going through.

The Workshop Breakdown:

  • The Why: We kick things off by understanding why trauma affects us the way it does and how journaling can be a powerful tool in breaking those chains. We’ll explore the impact of trauma on our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and why putting pen to paper can help us start to heal.
  • The How: The second half is all about the practical stuff—how to make journaling a habit, what to write about when you’re not sure where to start, and how to use your words to process emotions, gain insight, and start feeling like yourself again. We’ll tackle it all, one journal entry at a time.

This course is for you if:

  • You’re tired of carrying around the weight of past trauma and are ready to start unpacking it.
  • You often feel overwhelmed by your thoughts and need a way to make sense of them.
  • You’ve tried to heal on your own but feel stuck and unsure of how to move forward.
  • You’re looking for a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your emotions and experiences.
  • You’re ready to take control of your narrative and start living life on your own terms.
  • You want to connect with others who are on a similar journey and support each other through the ups and downs of healing.

    Mindfulness for Sanity Workshop

    Online Women's Workshops

Welcome to the Mindfulness for Sanity Workshop!

Ah, mindfulness—a word that gets thrown around a lot, but what does it really mean? If you’re here, you’re probably looking for a way to keep your head on straight in a world that’s constantly pulling you in a million directions. You’ve come to the right place.

This workshop isn’t about sitting cross-legged on a mountaintop chanting “om” (unless that’s your thing, then more power to you). Nope, we’re talking real-life mindfulness—stuff you can do when the kids are screaming, the emails are piling up, and you’re one spilled coffee away from losing it. I’m here to help you find some calm in the chaos and a little peace in the pandemonium.

Mindfulness doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s about being here, right now, and not letting your mind run off like a toddler with a found pack of permanent markers. It’s about finding a moment of quiet in the noise and remembering to breathe when everything feels like it’s going off the rails.

    In this workshop, we will:

    • Get Real About Mindfulness: We’ll break down what mindfulness really is and how it can help you keep your cool, even when life’s throwing curveballs left and right.
    • Practical Mindfulness: We’re going to focus on techniques that fit into your real life—whether it’s a quick breathing exercise in the car or a moment of stillness before you tackle that to-do list.
    • Tame the Mind: Your mind can be a wild beast. We’ll work on techniques to help you quiet the chatter, reduce anxiety, and stay present, even when things get hectic.
    • Find Your Zen: Whether you’re new to mindfulness or just need a refresher, we’ll explore ways to bring more peace and balance into your life without making it another thing to stress about.
    • Laugh, Breathe, and Repeat: Mindfulness doesn’t have to be all serious and solemn. We’ll keep it light, have some fun, and most importantly, find what works for you.

    The Workshop Breakdown:

    • The Why: First, we’ll dive into why mindfulness is more than just a buzzword. We’ll explore how it helps calm the mind, reduce stress, and bring more awareness into your daily life. You’ll learn why it’s worth your time, even when time feels like the last thing you have.
    • The How: The second half is all about integrating mindfulness into your life. We’ll cover simple, practical exercises you can do anytime, anywhere—whether you’re at work, at home, or trying not to lose it in line at the grocery store. You’ll leave with a toolkit of techniques to help you stay grounded, no matter what life throws at you.

This course is for you if:

    • You’re constantly overwhelmed by stress and need a way to calm the chaos.
    • You find yourself getting lost in worries about the future or regrets about the past and want to stay more present.
    • You’re new to mindfulness and want to learn simple, practical ways to incorporate it into your daily life.
    • You’ve tried mindfulness before but found it too complicated or difficult to stick with.
    • You’re looking for quick, effective techniques to help manage anxiety and keep your cool in tough situations.
    • You want to laugh, learn, and find a little peace without taking yourself too seriously.

Love Your Body, Love Yourself Workshop

      Online Women's Workshops

Welcome to the Love Your Body, Love Yourself Workshop!

Welcome to a space where we’re throwing diet culture out the window and embracing all that we are—flaws, farts, and all!

We’re going to dive deep into what it means to truly love and accept yourself, even when society says otherwise. This workshop is designed to meet you where you are, using tools and exercises that helped me on my own journey to self-love. Some of these might resonate with you; others might not. And that’s okay—this isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey. But my hope is that by the end of this course, you’ll find new ways to appreciate and care for the body you’ve got.

      In this workshop, we will:

      • Get Real About Body Love: We’re going to explore creative, reflective, and analytical methods to develop compassion for our bodies and experiences.
      • Bridge the Value Gap: We’ll work on aligning our values with how we treat and view our bodies, which is no small feat in a world that profits off our insecurities.
      • Call Out the BS: We’ll talk about how capitalism and diet culture play into body shame. Spoiler: It’s a huge part of the problem.
      • Stand in Solidarity: We’ll dig into the experiences of people with marginalized bodies, including how weight stigma affects us all, and dream about a world where all bodies are valued.
      • Deconstruct and Rebuild: We’ll examine the narratives that create body shame and work on countering those with exercises, readings, and other resources.
      • Laugh, Cry, and Heal: It’s all part of the process.

      The Workshop Breakdown:

      • The Why: We start by naming the systems of oppression—like white supremacist patriarchy—that have long dictated how we view our bodies. These systems aren’t just “out there”; they’re internalized as shame and self-criticism. This section is all about understanding how these forces shape our lives and recognizing that it’s these systems, not us, that are broken.

      • The How: In the second half, we get down to the nitty-gritty of self-care in a world that doesn’t always support it. We’ll explore intuitive eating, joyful movement, mindfulness, and other practical tools for living our best lives. And yes, we’ll do it all while flipping the bird to a culture that tries to tell us we’re not enough. Spoiler alert: We are more than enough.

This course is for you if:

      • You’re fed up with feeling like your body isn’t good enough, and you’re ready to tell diet culture to take a hike.
      • You’ve spent too long comparing yourself to others and want to break free from the endless cycle of self-criticism.
      • You’re tired of the societal pressure to conform to unrealistic beauty standards and want to embrace your body just as it is.
      • You’re curious about how capitalism, diet culture, and systemic oppression play a role in body shame, and you want to understand and challenge these forces.
      • You’re looking for practical tools to help you love and care for yourself in a world that often doesn’t support that.
      • You want to connect with others who are on the same journey toward radical self-acceptance and body love.
      • You’re ready to laugh, maybe cry, and most importantly, heal your relationship with your body.

This workshop is all about embracing the real you, finding compassion for yourself, and giving a big middle finger to anyone or anything that says you’re not enough. So let’s get started—because you are, and always have been, worth it.

Surviving Teens Without Losing Your Mind Workshop

        Online Women's Workshops

Hey there, warrior mom! If you’re here, I’m guessing you’ve got a teenager (or two) at home who’s driving you to the brink of insanity. Welcome to the club! This workshop is your safe space to vent, laugh, cry, and most importantly, get some damn good advice on how to navigate the rollercoaster that is raising a teen.

First things first—let’s get real. Being a mom is tough, but being a mom to a teenager? That’s next level. You’ve gone from diapers to eye rolls, and some days it feels like you’re barely hanging on. But guess what? You’re not alone, and you’re definitely not crazy (even if your teen tries to convince you otherwise).

Here’s a little about me: I’ve been in the trenches with two teenage girls, and let me tell you, I’ve seen it all. The good, the bad, and the “I can’t believe you just said that” moments. I’m here to share what I’ve learned, along with a healthy dose of humor, because let’s face it—if we don’t laugh, we might just cry.

This workshop isn’t about pretending to have all the answers (because who does?), but it’s about arming you with practical tools, strategies, and a community of fellow moms who get it. By the end of this course, you’ll feel more confident, more connected, and maybe even a little bit less like pulling your hair out.

        In this workshop, we will:

        • Get Real About Teenagers: We’ll dive into the wild world of teenagehood—hormones, mood swings, and all. No topic is off-limits, and no question is too silly.
        • Master the Art of Communication: Tired of grunts and eye rolls? We’ll work on techniques to open up lines of communication, so you’re not just talking to a brick wall.
        • Set Boundaries Without Losing It: Let’s face it—setting boundaries with teens can feel like trying to nail Jell-O to a wall. We’ll explore how to set and enforce boundaries while keeping your sanity intact.
        • Survive the Chaos: From school stress to social drama, we’ll tackle the biggest challenges you’re facing and come up with realistic, doable strategies to keep the peace (most of the time).
        • Find Your Tribe: Connect with other moms who are in the same boat, because let’s be honest, sometimes you just need someone who gets it.

        The Workshop Breakdown:

        • The Chaos: We start by acknowledging the chaos that is teenage life. We’ll discuss the challenges, the WTF moments, and how to keep your cool when it feels like everything’s spiraling out of control.
        • The Connection: In the second half, we’ll focus on reconnecting with your teen. We’ll explore communication strategies, boundary-setting, and how to be there for your teen without losing yourself in the process. You’ll walk away with practical tools and a support system that’s got your back.

This course is for you if:

        • You feel like you’re constantly walking on eggshells around your teen and are ready to take back some control.
        • You’re tired of the constant battles and want to find a way to communicate with your teen that doesn’t end in a shouting match.
        • You’re overwhelmed by the pressures of parenting a teenager and need some practical advice and support.
        • You miss the days when your kid actually liked you and want to rebuild that connection (or at least stop the daily eye rolls).
        • You’re looking for a community of moms who understand the highs and lows of raising a teen and can offer a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, or just a good laugh.
        • You’re ready to tackle the challenges of teenagehood with a mix of practical strategies and a healthy dose of humor.

This workshop is all about surviving the teen years with your sanity intact—and maybe even thriving along the way. So, let’s get to work, mama. You’ve got this!
